Training programs

To make sure that ALD capabilities of your organization match your requirements, we offer three different types and levels of training.

All our trainers are highly experienced ALD professionals. ALD Engineer training will be conducted by a Ph.D. level instructor. We aim to give all of our training on the Customer’s own Beneq equipment. In some cases, training can be given at Beneq premises also.

Level 1

Beneq Certified ALD operator training gives all the skills and knowledge to independently operate a Beneq ALD tool. Training contains eg. basic ALD theory, recipe structure and syntax, the operation of the ALD tool and safety aspects. Skills required for daily maintenance and checks. Each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion from a qualified Beneq instructor after the training.

Level 2

Beneq Certified ALD maintenance associate training gives the skills required to perform preventive maintenance on a Beneq ALD tool. The training gives capability for independent fault-finding and problem-solving. Preventive maintenance tasks are presented in a form of comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) protocol. This PM protocol is an elemental tool for performing the PM tasks independently. Each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion from a qualified Beneq instructor after the training.

Level 3

Beneq Certified ALD Engineer training gives basic skills for designing a new ALD process from the ground up. Training includes topics such as selection of correct ALD precursors, ALD process parameters and optimization, Advanced ALD process recipe syntax, process development sequence and methodologies and analysis on deposition results. Each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion from a qualified Beneq instructor after the training.
