CPI and Beneq sign collaboration agreement

Welcome back. Our blog returns after the holiday break with more stories from the home of ALD.

We start the new blog year with partner news: The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) and Beneq have signed a long term collaboration agreement for the use of atomic layer deposition (ALD) technologies.

CPI has recently installed two atomic layer deposition tools from Beneq for the development of conformal nano-scale coatings, which will be used for pilots and prototyping of new ALD applications. We will have special focus on roll-to-roll ALD technology and new customer applications of R2R ALD.

The cooperation will provide us with invaluable information on system performance and allow faster time to market with new ALD applications, which goes very well with Beneq’s strategic target to grow the ALD market by offering outsourced coating services in close collaboration with partners and customers.

Once again, we are looking forward to interesting new coating solutions and applications for atomic layer deposition, for example in the areas of photovoltaics, OLEDs, microelectronics and sensors. For more information about the collaboration and its goals, you can check the CPI press release.

Let it roll!
