Lumineq Displays shows off full spectrum at AUSA and Electronica 2014

This year from Oct 13-15, Lumineq Displays showed its full spectrum of non-transparent and transparent products to an AUSA audience in Washington DC that was captivated by its technology. The next stop to awe the crowds was Electronica 2014 in Munich, the world’s leading fair for components, systems and applications.

AUSA 2014 was the debut for Lumineq Displays in the global defense industry with its full lineup of displays for extreme military use and the first exposure for TASEL displays in the military environment. The AUSA Annual Meeting, which takes place every year in October to show off what’s new in the industry, is North America’s largest land power exposition and professional development forum.

Visitors were eager to see how Lumineq’s non-transparent thin film electroluminescent (TFEL) displays take ruggedness, technical capabilities and unbeatable reliability to a completely new level. The company has already delivered more than 3 million TFEL displays in military, medical, outdoor instrumentation, transport and other mission critical and extreme environment applications.

Lumineq generated a large number of serious high-quality leads at AUSA. Of particular interest to the visitors were the TASEL® reticles.

At Electronica 2014 from November 11-14, Lumineq kept its visibility high at the world’s largest electronics event. The consistent lineup of non-transparent matrix displays was joined by a new non-transparent segmented display, soon to be available. The show generated a high number of new contacts and was a good forum for building relationships with current and potential customers and distributors.

Live demonstrations of TASEL at both fairs showed off the technology’s unbeatable advantages. Lumineq’s transparent electroluminescent TASEL® displays open new vistas for design, where the display serves both as a window and a display for critical information. This technology in particular created a showstopper, generating quality leads and attracting the attention of participants.

“We have high hopes for the future of TASEL®, especially when it comes to new applications where the unique properties of the technology enable the displays to be used in ways only dreamed about so far,” says Mr Jari-Pekka Tiesmäki, Vice President of Lumineq Displays.

Lumineq's stand at Electronica was the center of interest in displays.
