Lumineq officially premiers at Embedded World 2013 in Germany
Espoo, March 18th 2013
Based on the excited welcome Beneq’s Lumineq displays received at Embedded World in Nuremberg in February this year, there is a significant existing market to serve and an immense amount of potential for new applications, both for non-transparent and transparent displays.
Beneq proudly presented its Lumineq brand for thin film electroluminescent (TFEL) displays for the first time officially at Embedded World 2013, the international trade fair for embedded electronic components, systems and applications, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from February 26 – 28. The fair also offered the opportunity to host the first-ever Lumineq distributor get-together on February 27.
Embedded World 2013 reached record numbers, with more than 22,500 visitors from 58 countries and over 900 exhibitors. This is where Lumineq made its debut to an overwhelming market approval. During the three-day fair, the new brand for TFEL and transparent electroluminescent (TASEL) displays received more than 200 documented leads from numerous customer segments.
To further boost awareness and visibility, Lumineq was one of the Embedded Display conference sponsors.
In conjunction with the fair, a Lumineq distributor get-together was organized as a good way to meet each other. “We had the chance to discuss Beneq’s strong commitment to TFEL technology along with the continuity of our current product lines,” says Sampo Ahonen, CEO of Beneq Oy. “Plus, we were able to unveil plans for our new superior TASEL products.”
New persons on the Lumineq team were also introduced to the distributors, including CEO Sampo Ahonen, Vice President J-P Tiesmäki, Area Sales Director Mikko Saikkonen, and Marketing Manager Joe Pimenoff.
Lumineq transparent electroluminescent (TASEL) displays offer a unique combination of form and function. Completely see-through, custom-shaped and rugged, these are the best there is in transparent displays today.
