Lumineq® Displays astound show visitors, enter new co-operation agreement
To kick off 2014, Lumineq® Displays showed off its transparent TASEL® and TFEL range of unique display products to interested buyers around the world at Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany, and at the massive FPD show in Shanghai, China. Right before this year’s exhibition season began, Lumineq Displays also entered a significant cooperation agreement with i-sft of Germany, a solution provider of flat panel technologies for demanding display applications.
With again record-breaking numbers of visitors at Embedded World 2014 this year, the Lumineq Display stand kept continuously buzzing with a swarm of enthusiasts who wanted to see the latest transparent TASEL and rugged TFEL display products.
Lumineq Display’s stand at Embedded World 2014. Our transparent and non-transparent displays attracted more than 350 contacts in three days.
“The overwhelming interest at the exhibition was proof that our development direction is correct and that Lumineq Displays are one of the hottest items when it comes to embedded display technology,” says Mr Jari-Pekka Tiesmäki, Beneq Vice President and head of Lumineq Displays.
Results from the exhibition included more than 350 new contacts and approx. 300 participants who attended the special Electronic Displays Conference presentation given by Mr Gerald Smid, Lumineq Displays’ TASEL Product Manager, who spoke on the “Comparison of Transparent Display Technologies on the Market Today”.
Lumineq Displays’ TASEL and TFEL products journeyed on to China after Germany, making their debut at one of the world’s most influential flat panel display exhibitions from March 19–21 at the Shanghai New International Centre. Again, the reception of the products was exceptional.
Prior to Embedded World, Lumineq Displays entered a significant cooperation agreement with Germany-based i-sft, a leader in flat panel technologies for demanding applications.
“The main goal of this cooperation is to create more display offerings by combining the technologies of our two companies. We both bring long experience to the table and aim to tailor make innovative solutions for our customers who seek the very best displays. From the feedback we received from this year’s two most prestigious international exhibitions, customers especially appreciate knowing we can meet their needs for displays that can be a true differentiating factor with their brilliance, ruggedness and reliability. We look forward to the results from our joint collaboration and what exciting new products this will bring to the market,” Jari-Pekka says.
